It's Coming
Effective July 1, 2026

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how It's Coming collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the iOS game. The App is a location-based asynchronous horror game, and location is part of the core gameplay.

Contact

Developer: Anton Fedorov. For privacy, support, account, or personal data deletion requests, email support@excalibolt.com. App: It's Coming. Bundle ID: com.antonfedorov.itcoming.

Information We Collect

The App supports anonymous play by default. If you register, we may process email address, password authentication data, nickname, player identifier, and authentication session token. The App also processes foreground location updates you choose to send, gameplay state, leaderboard state, inventory/tool state, APNs installation data if notifications are enabled, and privacy-safe technical information needed to operate the service.

Location

The App uses foreground location only and requests iOS "When In Use" location permission. It does not use background location. When you update your trace, the backend quantizes location before public gameplay display. Other players should not see your exact coordinates.

What We Do Not Intend To Collect

The App is not designed to collect background location, contacts, photos, videos, microphone or camera data, health data, advertising identifiers for tracking, cross-app tracking data, or payment card data. The App does not currently use third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the App, authenticate players, run location-based gameplay, maintain game state, send optional gameplay notifications, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.

Legal Bases

Where required by law, including in the EEA/UK, we rely on consent for location permission and push notifications, performance of a contract to provide requested game and account features, legitimate interests to secure and maintain the service, and legal obligations where applicable.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising tracking. We may process information through the game backend, Apple platform services required for App Store and APNs delivery, service providers that help operate the App, legal compliance channels, or a protected business transfer.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain game state, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and protect against abuse. Push installation records may remain until you opt out, sign out, uninstall and stop using notifications, or the record is removed.

Your Choices And Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw location or notification permissions in iOS Settings. To make a privacy or deletion request, email support@excalibolt.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for the App Store Kids Category. Because the App includes horror themes and location-based gameplay, minors should use it only with parent or guardian permission and where lawful.

Safety

The App is fictional entertainment. It is not an emergency, navigation, safety, or real-world tracking service. Do not use it while driving, cycling, crossing streets, entering unsafe areas, trespassing, or doing anything that requires attention to your surroundings.

Security And International Processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Information may be processed in countries where the App infrastructure or service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or through the App Store listing.
