These Terms govern your use of It's Coming, a location-based asynchronous horror game for iOS. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

App Store Terms

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and your use is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms. Unless a separate custom EULA is provided through App Store Connect, the App is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

The App

It's Coming is a fictional horror game where a monster moves through game regions toward player traces. The App uses foreground location to create gameplay tension, show a map, update your trace, determine region state, and run survival and cooldown mechanics.

Eligibility

You may use the App only if you can legally agree to these Terms and legally use the App in your location. The App is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for the App Store Kids Category. Minors may use it only with parent or guardian permission and where lawful.

Accounts And Anonymous Play

The App supports anonymous play by default and may also support registration and login. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure, choosing an appropriate nickname, and all activity through your account or anonymous session.

Location And Notifications

Location and push notifications are controlled by iOS permissions. Location is necessary for core gameplay. Notifications are optional and delivery is not guaranteed. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.

Safety Rules

You must not use the App while driving, operating a vehicle, cycling, moving in traffic, crossing streets, entering unsafe areas, trespassing, or doing anything that requires your full attention. Game information may be delayed, approximate, unavailable, or incorrect.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to break the law, harass or endanger anyone, use abusive nicknames, attempt to reveal another player's real-world location, cheat, exploit, automate, reverse engineer, tamper with, disrupt the backend, misuse accounts or tokens, introduce harmful code, scrape data, or use the App for advertising or surveillance.

Game State

Gameplay state is server-authoritative. This includes survival attempts, monster targeting, death, cooldowns, inventory, Night Veil, active effects, event timelines, and leaderboards. We may rebalance, modify, reset, correct, or remove gameplay data for fairness, security, testing, bug fixes, abuse prevention, or service operation.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected. The public Privacy Policy is available at /privacy.

Intellectual Property

The App, including code, design, text, gameplay systems, names, logos, and other materials, is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Availability And Termination

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create safety or security risk, abuse the service, or if required by law or App Store requirements.

Disclaimers And Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The App is a game and must not be relied on for navigation, emergency response, personal safety, tracking, or time-sensitive decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence or business, except where consumer protection laws require a different law to apply. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or through the App Store listing.
